Calvin Klein is back at the podium in MotoGP.
The British company’s new Ducati XZ750 is its first entry in the World Championship since its inception in 2009.
Klein’s new bike has won all three rounds, the first of which he won in November 2015.
In MotoGP, Klings new Yamaha RC213V has beaten Nico Hulkenberg in two races and Marcus Ericsson in the other two.
It was also the first time the RC213v beat Kelvin Kuo in two races, with Kuo winning the race in November.
Nicky Hayden’s Honda R8-GP is the only other bike to win a MotoGP race, but it was his first race with Honda and he was in the top six in each of his first two seasons.
As well as the RC213vs the Ducati and the RC213vs the Yamaha, the Klinsons new Yamaha R1000 is a contender in the MotoGP class.
After the MotoGP season Kloins team has been given permission to test the R1100 in the US, so that they can compare it with the Klinys new R1200, and make sure it is fit for purpose.
The R1001 will also be available in a new Estate Edition model, and will come with a new aluminium frame, the same one used in the new RC1300.
This new model will also come with new electronics and a new compression adjustment to the bike’s powerband.
Its availability is expected in early March.
More information on the Ducati and the Honda will be revealed in time.
