The latest rumours suggest Honda may launch a new generation of performance boats, but it’s not likely to be as radical as some of its current offerings.
The first such boat to be revealed would be a two-person boat designed to compete in the upcoming Dubai-based Dubai Marathon, where the winner will receive a £10 million cash prize.
It’s not the first time we’ve heard of such a boat, as Honda’s two-stroke powerboats are known to exist, with one of them being used to stage the London Marathon last year.
Honda says it’s still looking for a buyer for the boat, which it says could go on sale in the second half of next year.
It’s not yet known whether the new boat would feature the company’s first ever water-cooled twin-cylinder, which was seen in the recent Honda CBR500R.
